KauzaFex Kills Sweet Springs

In part from being the first hip-hop group to ever play at Sweet Springs Saloon in Los Osos in California, KauzaFex did as well if not better than most bands turn out at that venue. The group Conquest was gracious enough to open the show up. They hail from the San Francisco Bay Area and bring some of the hyphy movement. It was nice to have some diversity in the whole hip-hop vibe. KauzaFex came strong with a whole new arsenal of fresh beats, rhymes, and life as well as setting it off with some old classics throughout their first set. Overall, it was one of the most relaxed and well polished shows they have ever had. Be sure to catch them again at the Z Club in San Luis Obispo on Wednesday night, Februaury the 25th. Much love and thanks to all who showed up to give support to the music.

Live Music

KauzaFex eradicated the competition Friday night 5/30 at the SLO Art Center.
E.P.1.C. and Kaesy killed the opening show with tracks off their Endless cd. They tossed in a few new ones like "People's Music" to start off the whole show. Both of those guys' beats are phenomal with intricate samples and a heavy low end. Plus, Idiosyncratic Rabbit pulled weight as the second band. They always start off strong and finish the set blazing the stage. They have an undeniably unique sound about them and they remind you of some straight Radiohead. It was a solid performance. KauzaFex closed the concert with special guest Syrus on various songs. Even Evol had to stand with the crowd to just sit back and watch his MCs, Hume and Lemore. Everybody came through and simply did what they do. Sorry if you missed it but we'll catch you at the next show.

Album Released!!

Kauzafex's debut album was offically released on April 11! A Trail Headed for Confusion Routed to Bliss... can be found @ digstation.com , Boo Boos Records, & Cheap Thrills in downtown San Luis Obispo, Ca. Their 16 track blend of flawless underground beats and freshly harvested metaphoric flows puts the phrase "mind power" into a different perspective. The group has generated some momentum and has been inspiring local Hip-Hop heads in San Luis Obispo. Evol (producer and mentor of the group), Hume (MC), & Lemore (MC) have been expatiating and configuring the dynamics of Kauzafex since they met in SLO in 2005. After honing their skills, exploring the limits of their mind, and studying human nature, Kauzafex started recording their first album. These three incredible minds will be putting their art into venues across california this summer.
